Baptist College of Theology (BCT)Oyo,established in September 30, 1977 as “Joint Baptist Pastors’ School” to meet the yearning needs for vernacular Pastors in the Churches that were springing up within the towns and villages in the South - Western part of Nigeria Over the years, the School has metamorphosed into Baptist College of Theology, still retaining her old site in Oyo. The crest has also changed from “Training for Preaching” to “Training for Christian Service.”

Baptist College of Theology (BCT), Oyo was established in September 30, 1977 as “Joint Baptist Pastors’ School.” It’s purpose was to meet the needs for Pastors in the ever-increasing Churches that were springing up within the towns and villages in the South - Western part of Nigeria Over the years, the Joint Baptist Pastors’ School has metamorphosed into Baptist College of Theology, still retaining her old site in Oyo. The crest has also changed from “Training for Preaching” to “Training for Christian Service.” The College aims to be a foremost theological institution in Africa and seeks to meet the challenges of providing theological education in a globalized world.Today, the College offers basic professional and theological curriculum to equip God-called men and women preparing for Christian ministries.
